"I took the CVE (Certified Virtualization Expert) exam today, I was very confident in the material and broke my personal fastest exam time record. I finished the exam in under 13 minutes. Thats not to say it wasn't a challenging exam though--this exam I really worked hard on, and taking the exam was a joy being so confident in the material. I should go get my VCP right away but since the requirements for being a VCP isn't just passing the exam, you also have to attend a required VMware training course I am discouraged from obtaining my VCP."
"None the less, the CVE exam was more challenging then what I read from the VCP Exam Blueprint, you have to know alot of command-line stuff for CVE. VCP on the other hand doesn't really require a lot of command-line knowledge. I really enjoyed the training course I attended this past week that helped prepare me for the CVE. Plus I had one of the best instructors ever Shawn MacArthur. He wasn't a death by PowerPoint kind of guy, kept it very fun and engaging and put up with my shenanigans for a week."

"I liked the class very much. In one week they covered a lot of material and there were 50 hands on labs. In comparison with the authorized class, I feel that it was much better mainly for three reasons, one, it was 5 days from 8am to 6pm instead of 4 days 9am to 5pm, two, they had a lot of hands on labs, and three, they talked about third party products that work very nicely with VMware. The authorized class does not talk about anything other than VMware, it is four days, there aren't that many hands on labs and they don't cover the topics in as much depth."
"Oh! Another thing that I really liked about the class was that you have access to the lab from anywhere via RDP so if you want to review or do the labs again when you go home, you can, that is a huge plus for people that are looking at this technology for the first time."

In comparison VMTraining provided a much more detailed training and also made available third party utilities that will aid my administration of our Virtual Environment. The Labs were dead on for each topic and they really helped me to fully understand the new feature set of VMware version 3.5. We were even able to install and configure the new vSphere product."
